Alkyl Polyglucosides (APG) PROPERTIES:Alkyl Polyglucosides (APG) is a new type of mild nonionic surfactant with wide applications and excellent properties, made from regenerated natural raw materials – glucose derived from corn, and fatty alcohols from coconut and palm kernel oils. And APG is biodegradable because of the raw materials.Owing to the asepsis,non-stimulant,and excellent surface activity, APG is ?generally used as a secondary surfactant in abstergent,cosmetics,foods and medicine. They are used in household and industrial detergent formulations where high, stable foam is required, or where high caustic concentrations are necessary. These surfactants also provide excellent detergency for glass cleaners, bottle washing formulations, metal cleaners, highly alkaline detergents, paint strippers, and aluminum brighteners. The turbidity has no negative effects on the products and disappears when the pH is adjusted to below
